About Us
This dream of mine, to help redeem homes for future generations, began after we bought our own house.
We graduated from Lancaster Bible College with lots of debt and low-paying degrees.
It took years and years, but finally, when we were able to afford it, we bought a house and moved in to raise our growing family.
But our house has a really unique and tragic past…..
Many incredible memories were made here, lives built, and love shared.
But tragically, something terrible happened in this house that started a decline into disrepair.
But God wasn’t done with this land yet…
We felt a sense of calling (though we were a little scared) to buy this house and redeem it.
It turns out - the seller had been praying for just that: someone to redeem the old family home.
I became fixed on this idea, that there are so many stories that look like they are coming to an end, but really, God may be just about to write a new chapter.
So after years of saving up to buy and flip homes, I started Redeemer Home Flippers to help grieving and overwhelmed executors turn the page and start a new chapter for young families.
It is so hard for young families to get started these days, and they just need somewhere safe and decent, not a bunch of luxurious frills on a house. They need a home.
Our name comes from Leviticus 25 in the Old Testament of the Bible, and is drawn from the idea of the “Kinsman Redeemer.”
Every house in Lancaster County has another story just waiting to be told.
I buy homes from the estates of incredible people I always wish I had gotten to meet, I go through my trusted realtor, I renovate them with a bunch of guys from my church, and we renew them simply and affordably for young families trying to get started.
This is my “WHY.”
